I just got a new humidor...never had one before...are you supposed to separate the cigars into separate bags, take them out of their individual bags or does it even matter....Thanks

they don't get the chance to breath and absorb or release the moisture flow that takes place in a humidor unless unbaged and desleaved....but a cigar that has aroma added via oils or other tampering measures might be better being seperated unless you don't mind you other sticks tasting the same;)

Ho Ho Ho, here it goes, watch out man here comes the oldtimers lecture, about doing a search before asking questions. Oh well before the fur starts flying, Cello off, seperate maduros from naturals, never put any flavored cigars in with none flavored, and never never ask a question, unless you have searched for an answer using the search feature of the forum. Hope I have answered your questions and told you about the "Unwritten rules of the forum, in a nice diplomatic way:-)

P.S. Gotta get out of here before the fur starts flying.

Keep your pot in a bag, take the cello off your cigars, buy many more cigars than what your humidor will hold and then buy another one and do it again. Then you can seperate your humidors, left and right. LOL Welcome,
