I sampled one of these for the first time. Industrial Press Brickk. Very tasty cigar. Burned great. Had a little fun and did the "Bucaneer" thing and stood it on a 2" ash.
My only dislike was: When it got down to the end....where the band was before I took it off...It started to not taste so good.

Not horrible...but a little bit different..like a smoke that had been set down for a few hours and re-lit.

Any thoughts from the IP fans or non fans? Anyone else have a tough time with the finish on these? Otherwise I thought it was great.

I had a similar experience with these. They need about six months of aging to round out. I really like the funky shaped 5 Points Figurado.

Mine had aged at the tobacconist for a few months and I burned it to my fingers. I'm more partial to the Sungrown than the maduros, but both have a really clean taste. I keep several Brickks on hand.

I've smoked several Masses (figurado) and they are a very well made cigar. But, they just don't suit my tastes....I found them to have a musty (old) taste to the. I know that sounds crazy, but it is the only way to descibe it.

I suggest purging it. that should get the flavor back.

Sonny and I usually agree on cigars, but on this one I like the IP and have smoked several of them with no bad tastes at the end. Maybe they were aged when I got them, recieved in trades and bombings.

I've quite liked the IP Mass that I've smoked, smooth and delicate with nice body. Also consistant through the cigar, not incredibly complex. The change in flavor was probably the ash standing trick. Ever notice how quickly a stub will get funky when you stand it up in the ash tray to burn out?

You might be right red. I didn't really think about that. I have a few of these. I'll let them sit and try again later.

I'm sure it was just a bad day for me and that cigar.
