There's a "Collector's Edition" set out, but the movie run time is the same. So I don't think they added anything to the movie per se.

Stargate's special edition has added some deleted scenes. It's one of the few movies where the deleted scenes didn't really add much. I liked it anyways.

He was going to quit acting after The Crying Game, but loved the script for Stargate and decided to hang in for that one.
