P.S., cable is a ring... Your data is "out there" going from your house, to your neighbor, and they tell two friends, and they tell two friends, etc... It's a ring. Not for me. DSl, the way to go 😉

Good luck even getting AOL off your computer. They have files hidden all over. You will need to do a lot more than just use the add/remove program. MSN isn't much better. when I left them all, of a sudden I started getting charges for all kinds of things on the credit card that I used only for the MSN account. I now have cable and that is the way to go.

Oops!

No offense taken rck_1. Like Cleetus the Slack Jawed Yokel said to Homer of his pistol brandishing... (hillbilly inflection) "What are you, some kinda' moron?"

Thanks for... helping me back there. You're a good caddy, something to be very proud of.

Slimboli

i always pay attention to your posts.

i have dsl with verizon at home and in the office. at home it's sort of a party line so rebooting the dsl modem becomes normal. the chap that installed it split the line outside so i don't need filters on my phone and that gives me a free phone line because i can use the computer and the phone at the same time download is about 700 kbps. cost is $30.

ibn the office e have a router with dedicated lines so there is never any trouble and the down load is the same. i belive the 3 lines run abut $50. a month.
