Setting your max at first bid doesn't allow others to get it much lower than you. It will only go up to your max in the increments stated, so you will only end up paying maybe 1-2 dollars more.

If others wanted to bid that high, their auto bids would have been set for a higher amount !! So possibly you're overpaying...

Flab and pimples may be considered normal but, you might want to get the pus problem looked at.

2 cents Worth: I think it is a matter of the Items being placed for sale in a method chosen buy the Owner of said items and of the buyers making up thier minds what items they whish to have and just what they whish to pay for it. Be it over a retail price or whole sale price or for a BUCK. If an item isn't worth $100 to you then you don't bid. If you can buy that item for $40 dollars some where else then do that..Not being a Wise A-$$ I say this because I dealt with a person all day yesterday that thought I shold sell some thing at the price he wanted and ship it at the price he wanted, Seems like most people lately are forgetting if you don't like the way things are going where you are trying to buy then Simply go some where else it's not your's and you have NO say over how it is handled until you Own it.. C-Bid has never been any thing but fair to me and to Many Others that have elected to buy in here. They need to make money to keep going as we all do No matter What business we are in and if There are people out there who will pay to much for an item then so be it..It's not like there aren't umpteen Million site's to check prices at.hahahahaha. I also have felt bad when a bid on some thing I really wanted was lost to someone who I knew was paying to much got it. My input.....For an auction to occur, a minimum of two people must want the same thing; the price is determined by which one(s) wants it more. Sometimes I will place my max bid on an item that is being bid on by proxy and it does drive the price up, beyond my max. However, if my bid is already max I won't bid on that item again in the same auction. I generally do bid early but it is more costly for me as it is more difficult to let an item go for only $1, $3, 5$, etc., more rather than waiting until the price already bid is beyond my max. In retrospect, the above is an extremly contorted juxtaposition of words. Does what I said, rather the manner in which I said it, make any sense to anyone?
