Doc et al,
I mentioned this in an email, but to reiterate, we might want to put these precious primos in humi-pouches inside the box so as to ensure they remain in prime condition throughout the pass. If needed, I can send you several large size pouches. Just let me know.

Love the humipouches.
JD1, I think, sent smokes to me in one one time, and I could have smoked them right out of the postladies hand.

the cigars will most likely be in a tupperdor with credos or other humidifying devices sufficient. This time of year, turnaround time for each player is critical because of the heat. Because many ISOM are unbanded and/or rebanded, it's a good idea to keep them in individual cigar resealable baggies with a numbering scheme for I.D. The good news is that Roman will work all this out in advance no doubt. It will be up to us to maintain whatever Roman devises so all his setup work pays off. Anybody who has run a pass knows it can be a lot of work. Thanks Roman for putting this together!!

Hey Danny,
A tupperdor, and credos, would be pointless, with individual resealable pouches. But a humipouch, IS a Resealable pouch, with a humidifier.

in a pass like this, with an ever growing number of cigars, that's the way it's done. You have no idea how many cigars are going to wind up in this thing as it progresses. No offense, but have you ever done this before?

here's a link to a site where a lot of passes have been run and many are under way. Lots of good examples here of some extremely well run passes, and some nonos too

Rocco and Ropeman have earned their entry into the PASS many times over ---WELCOME

JD1 - because of vacation times - you are probably getting the PASS 1st --I'll let you make the call if you feel the humi pouch would be advisable - I am sending in a modified tupperdor with humidification built in...

Doc, I'll also be gone July 3-5; spur of the moment trip.

I figured the humi-pouches would not only provide a more stable environment, but they would also lessen the shipping costs due to saving weight. No offense Danny, but IMHO humi-pouches are a better humidification method than credo/water/pg for traveling purposes such as this; if anything, they are more convenient and less troublesome.

No offense taken. Whatever you guys think is best. Every pass I've been involved in and hosted used tupperdors and home-made credos. The last pass I hosted started out with 44 cigars and returned with about 80. As the puts and takes occur, labeling and relabeling of the pouches is the only real issue that has to be dealt with. It's possible the entire contents of ea. pouch can change several times, and since cab ISOM's have no bands, and some will have come from vendors who reband, ID`ing becomes critical. So as long as that issue is taken care of, and some sort of container that allows for growth is being used,(inevitable), than all is well. Also, spare humi pouches will have to be available for growth inside the box as it makes it's rounds. No way to accurately predict how many extra will be needed. : )

Very good points Danny indeed. Whether or not humi-pouches end up in there, everyone will need to accurately write down any necessary information and ensure the humidity level is taken care of.

I do believe though that someone said you cannot take one and substitute two. So if any additional smokes go in there I would think they are freebies and should be indicated as such.
