you said you are or were in sales. with your attitude, if you worked for me, you would be out on your ass. you are too easily irritated, too thin skinned to handle customers.

i'll bet there are lots of places you can drive to, to buy cigars. i'll bet there are web sites you can by from.

i have a few clients like you that go nuts over the pettiest of things. i have a form letter i send them, explaning why i am unable to satisfy them and recommending they go some where else.

sort of like "F**K OFF."

I remember a thread I had not too disimilar from this with Jimmy... I was having a bad day or had a short fuse or something. I think he may have too. After I vented, I felt personally bad for several days/weeks. It feels good at the time, and justifiable, but usually with some time, people look back and regret harsh words spoken in anger. I'm sorry you got such a bad wrap Dig, I hope things continue to look up for you. Try not to let things get you too unnerved.

The problem with this forum is that one can not speak privately to another.

hehehehe, Well he certinally evolks passion in people. And yes, I have a number of Opus and Pams and ISOMs etc... sleeping peacfully. Yes he over-reacted. Yes I've over-reacted in the past, specifically to Jimmy and to you too Slim. I think it is somewhat human nature though, as men, sometimes when people stand up and poke us in the chest with their finger and get in our face while they're making their point, we take a swing, a haymaker. I think it's a reaction sometimes. And sometimes as I said can be contributed to by outside circumstances, personal issues, etc... Not justifying outrageous remarks, just trying to understand/explain. I've also seen others, cwhelmi and some others who seem to be perpetually cool and level headed step in and say as if a horse whisperer "easy... easy... there..." Sometimes that's what is needed. That's not to say that 1) this always works, or 2) there are always mitigating circumstances. But sometimes there are and sometimes it helps. I disagre Rick on many subjects, but would never have a harsh word for him and have grown fond of the old guy. I think everyone needs to calm down. The posts will be pulled soon anyway.
