Anyone get their promotional Torano yet? Got the Avo and Dimeola. No Torano, though.

What is the source of these promotional cigars ??

Greetings Toraño Insiders:

In July of this year we launched our inaugural Toraño Insider publication. Unfortunately, it appears that many of you did not receive it. Please accept our apologies. We hope all kinks have been fixed and that all who have signed up with Toraño Insiders receive this communication.

Things have been extremely busy but very exciting at Toraño Cigars. As many of you know, we attended the RTDA event earlier this month in Nashville, Tennessee. Although there were less retail attendees than in years past, those who attended were serious tobacconists and were there to do business. Frankly, we had a spectacular show. The response we received to the introduction of our new Cameroon cigar, the Carlos Toraño 1916, was overwhelmingly positive. Equally spectacular was the response to our limited edition cigar, the Carlos Toraño Tribute 2003. The 1916 will be hitting the shelves in the next 3 weeks and the Tribute will hit the shelves in early November.

In my last publication I promised to create a contest whereby the winners would receive a box of the 1916s as soon as we received our first shipment in our warehouse. We will be awarding a box of the 1916s to the top 5 Toraño Cigar fanatics. We want to hear what makes you one of our most loyal smokers. The five most creative, zany and passionate responses will be awarded our newest release and have their names posted on the homepage of our website. All entries must be in by Friday, September 5th at 5:00 pm eastern time. Let the wackiest man or woman win! Pictures may help your cause.

On a separate note, despite all the negative news from smoking bans, taxes and other threatened regulations, my sense is that the cigar industry is actually getting healthier and growing. Both from our own brand standpoint and those of the clients we work with, we are seeing very real growth in manufacturing and distribution. Some in the industry are starting to talk about a mini-boom. Im not sure if we are there yet, but all signs are very positive right now.

Speaking of positive, weve had a substantial jump in the number of people signing up for the Toraño Insiders. For those of you who have not yet received your free cigar, be patient with us please. We are working hard to catch up and hope to do so within the next couple of weeks.

It took them a long-ass time, but Torano finally sent me one...an Exodus '59 that had gold trim around the band. Is this a different brand from the regular? Seems I remember it didn't have this gold trim.

They then sent an email saying they were having problems keeping up with all the demands for the freebies.

Lol, I guess put the word out on those free smokes a few weeks ago here on the forums wasn't such a hot idea. Torano must be working overtime.

Am I the only one who typed in 'saintluisrey.com' instead of 'stluisrey.com' for the free cigars? Yeah, a bit of a difference!

ikono... they have the Ex. 1959 Silver addition also (which is one of my personal favorites..)

I like the Silver Exodus better than the gold regular.

I've two before now, and both kinda sucked.

I might fire this one I got for free from Torano tonight to see if it's any different.

Does anyone have the DiMeola website address. I have received the AVO, waiting for the Torano, but cannot find the DiMeola. I have never smoked one, so I am very interested.

My Torano Exodus Robusto arrived today. Packed so tight in the mailing tube that it is actually twisted about a half turn. I don't know if it will smoke or not.

Got my Avo but never got the Torano. Sigh....

Got mine about a month ago , i am going to try to let it sleep a little longer

recived the Dimeola and the AVO waiting for toraño.I like better the Dimeola, by the way the shaving cream works very good.
