I know there are a lot of Frank Zappa fans like TG, DMV, and Homebrew. What Album would you recommend if I were going to purchase my first one this weekend? I understand it will probably be difficult to pick a favorite, but if you have any suggestions, I would appreciate it.

If you're used to conventional radio music "Overnight Sensation" is probably most accessable.

Personally "We're only in it for the money" or "Just another band from LA" are my favorites.

Have to agree with #13 to start out with. Live at the Filmore is another good one.

Joe's Garage or 200 Motels

I like them all but i think " Overnight" Sensation gives the broadest selection of his classic style. Songs like Dynamo Hum and Movin To Montanna are true classics.

I like Joes Garage and I am not a big fan of Zappas.
