So many women to grope, so little time.

As an admirer of Arnolds accomplishments I have to say I am happy for him. But....

Movie special effects will not repair California's budget crisis, rather budget cuts and taxes will. No way around it....money has to be generated and it is not a pretty venture. Every Lollie-Pop dream program can be brought up, but in the end it will be taxes and heavy-duty cuts to various programs, period.

Hey, somebody has to do it.

Rick,

He memorized some lines, read them back with dull affect, and was paid millions for it. He groped and harrassed women while admiring Hitler. Oh, and then he apologized to all he has offended, which, of course, wipes the slate clean (though we never heard if the women accepted his apology?).

That's real important stuff, the kind of stuff that gets you prepared to lead a huge economy out of a downturn. Can't you see the connection? It's obvious to me.

This reminds me of the move "The Candidate",where a non-politician runs and beats a veteran politician. After he win's and turns and says,"now what"? X

j-boy and Rick, I agree that his prior "accomplishments" are not worthy of being governor and that is exactly the point my post carries. As an avid weightlifter I admire his rise from bodybuilding to stardom, etc.

In closing, I will deflate your over-inflated balloons of hot air and repeat: There are far more qualified candidates out there than The Oak.

So what's the statute of limitations on playing grabass?

Yo X: He will do like any new Govenor, he will first "feel" his way around then get a "grope" on the situation. Then he will call a former Arkansas Govenor to find out the proper vessel and placement of his cigars. JonR

JD is right. We need to elect only people with a proven track record of screwing the public.

fgruben - that's the only good thing about him, maybe he'll help us smokers out... But he won't help the deficit much by lowering our atrocious taxes...
