I've been doing some research into various lines of cigars and have come across an interesting find. So far there are 4 ISOM manufacturers and 1 in the Dominican who produce a 1" cigar, varying in ring guages from 42 to 48.
El rey de Mundo has a "Tianos" that's 1"x46,
R&J has 2- "Exceptionales" 1"x42, & "Hermosa No.1 L/E" 1"x42;
Sancho Panza has 2-" giagantes" 1"x48, "Bachillers" 1"x42;
Troya "Superfinos" 1"x44;
and Cuesta Rey has a 1" in their "Royal Sampler".
Has anyone ever tried one of these. In my experience the flavor dosen't really develope until you're about an inch into any smoke. Is there any real enjoyment in haveing a 1" cigar? Curious little bugger.

My thinking is why not just light your lips?

How do you lite a 1" cigar without torching yer lips off?

Never seen a 1" cigar but do have a couple of 2" cigars. Don't really see how you could enjoy a 1" cigar, must be the clippings off of a churchill I would think LOL.

The Sancho Panza Bachilleres are 4.5"x40, can't say about the others.

I've never heard of or seen a 1" cigar.

Seems like a waste of time, unless maybe you want to stuff one down in a pipe...

The domestic El Rey Del Mundo Tainos is a 7x47 cigar ... any chance you're mis-reading that info ??

So is the Sancho Panza. It's a 7 X 47

Yo mrkmitch: I could be wrong but giagantes = gigantic, so I would say they are meaning 7" as opposed to 1". I'm pretty sure you have your 7s and 1s mixed up which is a livable mistake as long as your talking about cigars and not your ****. LOL Jonr

E-mail me for the addy of the e-store that has all of these I've mentioned, And, JonR, there is a very plain difference between the ones and the sevens. All of those listed are cuban except for Cuesta Rey. This listing shows the SP Bachillers as a 1" cigar, and the others listed too.

I was hoping some of the ISOM enthusiats we have on this site could offer some explaination for a 1" cigar. And all I'm getting is sophomoric humor.
