There was some talk "A While Back" about the new Cohiba bands.

Thought that I would post a pic of a real new Cohiba band and a fake.

Which one is real?

BTW - this is not my picture, found it searching the net and thought that I would share.

I'd say the top one is fake. I thought two rows of square dots on top was the way they did it.

I'm no expert, but I'd say both are fake. The top one has 5 rows of white squares instead of 4 and on the bottom one the gold stripe wanders off of the yellow and up into the black.

I didn't count the rows I was looking at the shine on the COHIBA... Now I gota go look again LOL... 4 rows though...

Hmmmm, Hog - My Brother - I should have said no peeking...Since you got the goods you know which one is legit.

However, it is not easy to determine a fake one from a legit one...

They're both fake. The registration on the bottom one is way off, the dots should never touch the lettering. The top is fake because there should only be two rows on top.

Good to be seen Billy. So are you saying the new bands have 5 rows of dots, three on top of Cohiba? I thought it was a higher qulity band, but all the old ones always had 4 rows and a fifth row was a sure sign of a fake. But like I said, I'm no expert, I've only had 1 Cohiba.

My guess would be the top one.

Why? Because the gold square around the word "Cohiba" cuts halfway through a row of white squares (which doesn't look right all) and also, the words "Cohiba" and "Habana, Cuba" don't look right and the spacing is too big on it.

Damn slim, here I was running up and down my Stairs to the Walk-In and I forgot this was posted.. DER on my part LMAO!!!!!!!!!
