Hi all,

I would like to start a cigar poll. This will (1) help me find out what cigar brands and varieties are worth trying. (2) Everyone else will see what you like and when the trades come up or when Christmas, birthdays etc. rolls around they will know what you like. So, please post your 5 top brands. After a week I will post a voted result so we can make heads or tails of the top brands as far as the readers of this post goes.

Thanks,

Tim

Tim: Please be more specific. Cuban or non-Cuban, popular priced or premium, etc. etc.

Someone may think you really want "brand" and write Fuente, when, in actuality, they despise all Fuentes except Don Carlos #3, which is their favorite cigar.

In no particular order:

XXO

RYJ Maduro

Bucanero

Torano Signature

Acids

Dont know if that is my absolute top 5, but that is what comes to mind off the top of my head. I could peer through my humi window and probably change my mind 10 more times.

I guess I should be more specific. These would be non-cuban. Most of the cubans you would get in the states would be fake anyway. And out of reach money wise for most. Don't get me wrong, I am not above paying 50 bucks for a cigar. But not for everday use. What I am talking about is If you were opening a Christmas gift that you knew were gars. What specificly would you want to see. Brand and variety of non-cuban gars. Premium or otherwize.

I think the CAO's are one of the best buys out there right now. If you like a real full bodied a** kicker try the extremes.

At this time and in no particular order. Found this to be harder than I thought it would be.

1. Fuente Hemingway (Short Stories, Work of Art, Best Seller)

2. Fuente Sungrown Cuban Beli

3. Oliva O Maduro

4. Padron (Whole line is good)

5. Cuesta-Rey Sungrowns

6. La Gloria Cubana (Rolled in Miami and Series R.)

(In this line up you will be pressed to find any sticks that are rolled too tight.)
