RDC you are not boycotting a stamp, you are chosing not to purchase it. That is the diffence between the USPS have different stamps, for different interests and a Judge placing a giant marble monument pushing his beliefs (which I happen to agree with) onto everyone that passes by.

You're out of line. If it was a stamp honoring Al Qaida with a smiling face of Osama Bin Laden, I'd agree with you. The USPS is giving equal time to a religion that is practiced by a significant percentage of Americans.

I see a Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, and the EID stamp as well as a bunch of miscellaneous "Happy Holidays" stamps. The whole church and state thing might be a little murky but it does appear that each religion/holiday is getting equal billing. The religions that are not represented have a legit complaint but I suspect all they need to do is submit a design.

Old news, that stamp has been out for two years now. It was first introduced in Sep. 2001, just before 9-11. The email about the boycott you've posted first started making its way around the internet last year at this time, and it appears it's making the rounds again.

Rumor has it that the USPS was gonna release a new stamp honoring Mary Carey. They decided not to because most people couldnt figure out which side to lick.

What I find more interesting is that more people jump on the band wagon to support this issue than support the 10 Commandment display or the word God in the Pledge of Allegiance. Why is that?
