This is the first season that I haven't gone out in 10 years. I hunt in a different state and cannot afford the out-of-state license this year since I've been unemployed for the past 16 months. My brother is going out this week and will try to get me some meat though, a young doe hopefully.

This guy came from Guadalupe County Texas about 30 miles east of San Antonio just outside of Sequin. My brother in law has really got the sausage making down to a fine art. We all fought over last years so I got my order in early. Venison Chili was my mother in laws specialty and unfortunatly she's no longer with us. I don't trust my brother in law when it comes to chili, LOL.

That's awesome Barry. My Uncles and older brother are heading to West Texas this year to hunt Mulies. My uncles has 40 acres in Terlingua and he has been going there every year for the last 20 years. I've already indicated my demand..er wish for some sausage!
