OK, I'm new, and my references are unknown, but what is a box pass, and how does it work?

A box pass is started by one individual who loads a box down with a number of smokes. Billy has in excess of 70 sticks so far.

The box is passed to each person involved in the pass. He he then takes some cigars from the box and puts some cigars (of like quality and kind) of his own in the box. I'm not sure what number we will putting and taking. Most times the limit is around four.

So, if I take a PAM Robusto, I could replace it with, say a Ashton Virgin Sun Grown Robusto and so on.

A box pass gives participants the opportunity to try new cigars from all tiers of the quality chain while trading off some of their own inventory.

Count me in if you don't mind.

Have some auctions in progress. When they are done, the lineup will close.

I can say that there will be a couple or three RyJ Res. Maddie Robustos in the mix!!!

Hopefully some Partagas Span. Ros. and Torano 1916 (if everyone would quit outbidding me!!!)
