Hope your feeling better today. I see that you have the flu.

I am on the downside of the Flu, today the fevers are much lower, and maybe by the afternoon, they will be gone. My neighbors just brought me a pot of Chicken soup, and another neighbor dropped off a bunch of vhs movies, yesterday. I love having neighbors that know how to be neighborly. LOL
By the way WHO WANTS FREE CIGARS?? Lets see if I can bury the question in a bunch of text, so the winner has to read this post to see the question. LOL I just got a phone call from my prvious boss, you know the one that fired me by way of a phone call. Anyway, she wants me to come back to work. The staff I trained has had a mild revolt, and are refusing to cook my recipies, with out me having my job, and have torn all of them from the recipie book and destroyed them. LOL It seems that their loyalty lies with me, instead of the woman who writes their checks. Man Talk about Balls. I am not sure I could do that, if I were in their position. My prep cook, has just announced that he is leaving for culinary school, in 2 weeks, and the waitstaff, has indicated that they are looking for new jobs. Damn I hate to Gloat, but she is getting the karma that she gave. LOL I told her I would have to think about it. That I was battling the Flu and could not give her an answer, until I was thinking clearly.

Yea its nice to have good neighbors. I really enjoy the ones I have now. Great people, helpful but not nosy!
BTW, Take the job, but keep looking for a better one. She is likely to fire you again when she feels to time is right. I had an old boss who was like that. He would not like somebody and would look around to find a replacement then fire them regardless of their abilities. Notice I said old boss! LOL. He didn't fire me but I did find a better job.

Wow, cool neighbors. If my neighbor brought over Chicken Soup, I'd be afraid she laced it with poison. I think she is the spawn of Satan. I do have other neighbors (and have had ones in the past) that are great, but I'll dance the jig when this lady moves.
