Thanks for the offer, unklebill, but I don't swing that way.

There are plenty of other website out there for people with your "interests." Why not spend your time there, instead?

I think I would enjoy the MF line if I could ever get a draw out of one. I still have some in my humidor. Next time a can plan ahead enough to set one out overnight in order for it to dry enough to be smokeable, I will post a review. At this point in my life I dont have the resource to devote to a cigar that cannot be smoked at 'normal' humidity. But when that day comes..... I am still looking forward to trying the AF line.

Man! Your products are great! The new AF lines are as good of a cigar as I have ever tasted. How can you keep your prices so low? These are among the best around and for the price you are giving them away. Wow! Keep up the good work. I have found the cigar of choice for me.

Wow, what a niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice board! I have never seen so many compliments on one thread! Whatever happened to the threads with disagreement on them? So far Gael has garnered all kinds of attaboys and raves on the LaLuna line-the couple I have had were pretty damn good. I am going to start another thread on the Political board just to get some hackles up! Charlie

Unklebill, if you are trying to smoke a LL Maduro Fuerte at normal humidity, which I take it as some agree to be 70% then you are way too high. The heavy Costa Rican Maduro wrapper holds a lot of humidity and will just not burn properly at 70%. I personally keep all my maduros at around 62%-65% humidity. I very rarely have a burn problem with them. Let them sit out for a few days in a box without humidification and try it then. In fact I got rid of all my credos and just use humi-stix instead. These sticks work great and keep the humidity lower at around the range I prefer. Give it a try at the lower and you might be surprised how good these cigars are. Of course when it all comes down, taste is a personal thing and you just may not like them.

I find that 28 seconds on High in my microwave does the trick. Be careful, because each microwave is different. Be sure to remove the cello first, otherwise, it may explode. Also, the residue from the band may become very tacky. Do not remove! Instead, scrape the residue onto the alarm clock snooze button and watch your significant other get grossed out the next morning. Works everytime.

I can't recall ANY negative threads about La Lunas....I would do a search of the archives but probably too many threads will pop up for my computer to handle

I read this thread and one song keeps popping into my head: "Love, exiciting and new. Come aboard, we're expecting you....." Enough's enough gang. I think Gael's ass is chapped from all the kissing.

Wow! What a nice welcome. Thank you very much. As I mentioned in my first post, I am always a little skepticle about posting on cigar boards, for fear of being called a spammer.

I just returned to Miami, and really need to get caught up a bit, but, I will return this afternoon to reply to your posts and questions.

OK, Ok. Last night I went home and set a La Luna MFer out on my cabinet, so hopefully it will be ready tonight. I have also instructed my wife to only speak in hushed tones while in the same room with it, and if she has to move it (God forbid) to only do so while wearing a clean white glove and to only carry it by the wrapper with her pinky finger fully extended......and the doily goes with it! I will post a review tomorrow.

rlprofant, cool! I'm also from Sarasota. What I mean is, I have a house there. At this time, La Luna cigars are not available at any retailers in Sarasota, but we're working on it. We hope to be in some stores there in the next couple of months.

I know, I know......our website desperately needs updating. What I need is time, and time seems to be very hard to findlately, LOL! I'm on it.

Fred, thank you for your kind words. The African Fuertes have a very specific blend, which is very different than the Maduro Fuertes. There is a very delicate balance which must be achieved when you use fine Cameroon wrapper. It is very important not to overpower the subtle nuances of this wonderful wrapper. I created this blend specifically to enhance the rich and spicy Cameroon characteristics, and as the cigars mature a bit, you will notice more and more richness and balance. Keep in mind, that African Fuertes were meant to be exhaled through the nose. Doing this will highly intensify the flavors and bring out unbelievable texture and richness; try it.

I designed and created the chests. I wanted a presentation that would do justice to the African Fuerte line. By the way, all 3 trays are removable. You just need to work the 3rd tray out.

Firefarmer, thank you. It is my philosophy that excellent cigars need not be ridicilously over-priced.
Quality, consistency, and affordablity are essential elements of success. I will continue to produce the finest product available, at the fairest prices possible. You have my word on that.

jjjohnson28, Thank you. The MF Hoyos Negros are in my opinion, a must try. It's a kick-ass herf, very much like the Colada, but a bit larger.
Remember, it's not the size that counts, but rather the delivery, LOL!
