UPDATE...

I found a place that said $137.50 for robustos (I don't know if it is the same one that you guys found)
I sent an email to ask if they still had stock.
I received an email stating that those were wholesale prices and you must buy 4 boxes to get that price.
It DID NOT say that on the site.
He told me I would have to pay the "new" price.
Checked the website...

The "NEW" price.... $198.00 !!! plus shipping...

Talk about taking advantage of supply and demand... :o(

sounds like the same site. I never e-mailed but placed the order for a larger size. We will see what they do. I printed the form just in case.

Isn't that false advertisement? Did you call them on that?

I e-mailed and they told me they were going to raise the price as these were hard to find...said screw it...and placed my order somewhere else...all in all...ended up paying $157.08 for the robustos...including shipping...

"Thank you for your response.

I have checked the website and have seen the new price. I don't think that was right to post the one price and now have a different one posted. When I looked at the website, it did not say anything about being wholesale prices. I was very interested in ordering a box and was ready to give a credit card number and place the order when I called. If I did not call and email first and just ordered through the website, would I have gotten the old price or the "new" one?

How would I go about ordering them if I am interested? Is there a number where I can place a phone order?"


In the meantime, I found another site that I DID order from. Got the Torpedo's for $188.54 delivered via Fed Ex. He said they should be here in 2-3 days...

Low it sounds like we ordered the Torpedo's from the same site, and They do get there lighting fast! I can do a box split on the Robusto's if anyone is interested if not I will just keep the whole darn box lmao 🙂

Yeah...think it was the same place on both instances...thought the site i did not order from had balls for saying that the price was going to change and if i wanted to be on the waiting list for the new price...said screw it and went to the other site...

They said they had the robustos in stock...placed my order...and that was that...

I will chime in with some of my classic crying. I have given up on the Tribute. I have had the site that changed their prices on my favorites list for a week or two now, and I can't believe it. I have a very nice collection of top-shelfers and connections to stuff like WOAM, and others for a great price.....but this is BS! I had to think about it for a while, and the pretty box and 22 cigars are not worth me stressing if I enjoy other cigars. i will just wait for a trade to try the Tribute. O.K, enough crying. I feel better. The End

i'm sorry if the site i gave you was the one who then turned around and tried(?) to jack up the price. sounds like the owner sniffed a high demand and flaked. if that's the case, PLEASE let me know so i don't give a reference for this guy ever again. NOT cool.
