SmellyDave was only commenting on how he would like to top Ropeman's trade he was not taking the challenge.
Reading back through:
1. Phil (hdking) asked the question and Tim (The Tendertotes Man) responded (but it was more of an apology!)
2. Ropeman also responded because it was not clear if Tim was accepting the challenge.
3. Then in true BOTL fashion (just like CW) hdking offered to send packages to both Contendertotes and Ropeman.

So here's my ruling:
Tim (contendertotes) responded first so he gets to ask the question on Sunday even though everybody would love to trade with Ropeman.
