So I said to myself I said self, how about a Bush vs. Kerry box pass, sort of Us vs. Them.

I have not worked out all the details as I am thinking of them as I write this, but the general concept is as follows.

The Bush fans have an internal collection of premium and super premium sticks.

The Kerry fans do like wise

After the election in November which ever camp wins the election the loosing team forwards their Treasure Trove to the winning team to be combined with their own collection and then sent to all in the winning team to be divided up.

We may be several months away from the election, but this will also give everyone time to form two teams and gather cigars.

If this is a stupid idea, I will go away...

The key is equal numbers.....
But since the vote is going to be so close .. equal numbers on both sides are likely.
Then we get to the issue of the limits of contributions. Since the Bush guys excel at raising contributions for their war chest, I would expect maximum contributions allowable by law where as the Kerry guys will have to scrape up whatever they can manage from their impoverished constituency...
But maybe if the Bush guys give the Kerry guys a big tax break....

(Its a joke!!!!)

I kinda figured since Kerry is so wealthy that it must follow suit that his supporters are close to the same tax bracket(before loopholes). So you guys must have all the super premiums.

Where as us Bush folk are poor farmers who like to grow our own backy.

Seriously
let's make sure we have equal numbers on both sides.
each Bushie can select one primo brand for their "Cabinet" and same for the Kerryacs. Then we each contribute 3 a piece. Winning side takes six out in order of how close they are to picking the Electoral College Vote.

I'll be happy to do this on Kerry's behalf, And I think Kerry will win by 322 to 216 (538 total electoral votes). I nominate Ashton VSG to our Cabinet.

Do you like this format??

3, 5 or more sticks is fine. Lets settle on a count.

Two camps dbguru can organize the Kerrites who wants to head the Bush team?

An even number of participants per side would be fair.

What am I overlooking?

What i meant to say...

I dont think there will get an equal amout of people...i.e..there will be more from one party...

Sticks should be even numbers...

C'mon Joe...finish up a complete thought...

Ahem...

What i really meant to say when i was trying to clear up my original post....

I do not believe there will be enough people to make this happen...you will have more from one party...

Sticks should be 1 for 1 (even)...

We would definetly have to have the same number on both sides. Period

and NO you can not play both sids of the fence:-)

I can captain the Bush team, I'll of course enlist Ethan's help.

Who wants to captain the Kerry team?

We'll just keep a count of who all is in and ensure even numbers.

I'll be happy to captain Kerry's team... Heck I'm an official Kerry lieutenant in his Washington state campaign. I'll take that promotion to Captain if cigars are involved.

What if you don't want to support either side? Don't forget, the majority don't go out and vote at all. LOL.
