Yesterday was my birthday so I pulled one of my favorite smokes out of the cooler....a padron 2000 maduro with about a year's rest on it. What a great reliable cigar! It's not the highest end cigar in the world, but always very consistant. Love that earthy, sweet padron flavor....full, but not harsh. It burns perfectly straight, never needs correction (unlike my kids), burns to the nub and you can let it sit for 10 minutes without a draw without needing to relight.
I was with good friends,wife, and son drinking some Labatts Blue, had some "birthday pie" (wife brought Bakers Sq. french silk). Does it get any better?
The icing was coming into the office today to find my trade from Jazzman with 8 wonderful smokes. Life is good.
