Thanks for the kind words man, I decided that if I was going to be spending money on cigars that I would do my research and try and only buy things of quality. The guys of the East County Cigar Club here in Portland have done a great job in mentoring me in the way of the leaf.
It's a great feelling to have my very first trade go so well and I hope to have more quality experiences in the future.

WOW, David sent me a ton of smokes in return, alot of which I've never tried. It's a good thing I bought a second, bigger humidor. He way outdid the puny package I sent him.

Hi didn't realize that this is where I was supposed to post being a newbie. Found this cite about 2 months ago through the Smoke mag's web cite. Attended my first NJ herf this past Monday night and met some great guys. I'm really enjoying this cite and even went out and bout a cooler last night at Costco to turn into a cooledor. Was hoping someone would be willing to trade with me and break me in. Thanks all this is one fun cite and hobby with some very interesting people involved as well!

Nice try Master Angler, I think I've got enough irons in the fire...LOL...wanted to see if I was up next. I borrowed this from the original post, thought it might help:

I am not a vet here, I've only been around for a few months. There used to be a batting order of the veterans of this board for newbies to trade with but its kind of fallen apart lately. So if no vets jump in to trade with you,I have a good selection of gars to fit almost anyones tastes and would be happy to help you out.

Thats the beauty of trades, you can trade with whoever you want to. True this board has been piecemealed lately, but it's original intent was to provide newbs with a sampler from a vet.
