(the last paragraph is the funny part in retrospect, man, if only my stock picks were that good, I'd go buy a country and kick everyone out)

PS: That **** is nasty. Clamato and Beer is good, that stuff on the other hand really sucks. They strained all the oil and solids out of the Clamato (something about long term mixed storage would cause the beer to sour) and pushed up the alchohol content of the beer ala "Ice" brews. it doesn't taste at all like Bud to me, so I really wonder if they actually used Natural ICE as the base beer rather than Bud.

I'd say it looks and sort of smells like pink vomit, but then Andy would really want to go out and try some.

Sub a good mexican beer for teh bud light and you have one hell of a refreshing drink...

Clamato

5 limes

4 dashes of tabasco

salt

pepper

2 dashes of Worcestershire

1 celery stalk

a dash of old bay seasoning...

All over ice...man that is the best thing for a hangover...

Honestly.......this tastes damn close to the way I mix it here at home. I always preferred a bland beer to mix with anyway (why waste a full flavored beer?).

If you tried it, feel free to knock it.......otherwise I'd suggest getting one to check out. If you don't like it you can use it for paint remover.

Andy,

Yes, I have tried it, both the Light and the "Regular" version, sometime around when they became available up here back in 2006 or early 2007. Posted about it on misc, but I can't find it and don't feel like searching for it.

I have nothing against Clamato and beer, just don't care for this stuff.

And yes, I always use cheap beer when mixing clamato and beer.

Alright. This is an old favorite, you're in my wheelhouse. Here's how I like it:

1 can Pabst Blue Ribbon (or bottle of Rolling Rock if you have a time machine and can go back to get the original version)

1/4 cup V8 juice

1/4 cup reserved liquor from last night's steamed clams (preferably steamers)

shake of Worcestershire Sauce

shake of Tabasco

Serve over ice in a frosty mug.

Amazing.

No.

It's going to take more booze (and a few roofies) than that stuff has in it to make me go camping with you.
