Actually, that piece of paper is the autographed photo of the playmate that attended CigarFest 2004. I had it facing out but my wife made a big stink about it.

Boofa,

That whole set-up is the definition of class! Nicely done! I would pull up a chair.....and just stare....if it was mine.

What's one the top-shelf?...Cuesta Rey, Boli Fuerte, and MX2? You have a nice selection in there, and the La Aroma's look Yum!

Congrats!

That humidor isn't the only one. I've got 8 desktops filled to the gills. When I'm tending to the humidors, I glance over to my wife and she just sits there with her head in her hands. She said I look like a mad scientist messing around with experiments. I take great pleasure in making sure all my babies are well nourished..don't want them to get dehydrated.

"The three most expensives things that went into making the humidor were the spanish cedar, glass doors, and the cigar oasis humidifier."

Ummmm Boofa? What about your father-in-law's labor and skill!? That was by far and away the most expensive component!

Additionally, you mentioned that the temp has stayed at 70. Is that because you keep your house at 70 degrees? Do you keep it that way in July and August in Jersey? I'm currious about temperature control (dead horse for me) if this is in the basement, it's less of an issue. I'm in a ranch in georgia, so it's a major issue for me, even in MAY!

p.s., the piece is beautiful, very nice match to your existing cabinetry. Kudos to your father-in-law. I hope he doesn't turn in to a c0ck face like mine did.

Bobby, the answer to your first question, my father in law was more excited about the project than I was. He would work on it every day after work regardless whether I was there or not to help him. As far as the temp...my house stays at 70 to 75 all year round. The humidor is located in my dining room which is on the main floor of the house. In the winter, the heat is set at 70 and in the summer the a/c is set to 70. Works out well.

Wow, that's very impressive. Those sticks look very happy in there. If you can I'd really like to see your building plans and material costs.
