1 each from starting positions 1-10, 11-20, 21-30 and 31-40. . . . . my girlfriend will draw numbers tonight. . . she gets home about 10:30 est. . . I'll post the numbers later, and the drivers who match those numbers after qualifying tomorrow. . .

Some interesting numbers. A good qualifying position
does not necesarily equal winning the race. . . . out of 12 races this year, only 4 winners started in the top 10, and only 1 started on the pole. . .

the 12 races thus far have been won from these starting spots:

3, 23, 25, 7, 11, 13, 19, 17, 16, 4 and 1

So, winning pole position may not mean all too much come race day. . . good luck everyone. . . .

Some unusual qualifying today. . . . I was ready to strangle the girlfriend last night for drawing 39 for me, but who knew Kenseth would qualify 39th?????

Congrats Gamelover. . . . . . nice to see Martin win. . . but, what a strange race. . . . I'm a fan of Ray Evernham & the 2 red dodges. . . . . very heartbreaking. . .

I can't believe I won with Mark Martin.. When I checked the list Friday night and saw what drivers I had I told my wife I don't have a snowballs chance in heck of winning. The only two Chevrolet's I had were Robby Gordon and Mike Wallace, and my 2 favorites Dale Jr. and Michael Waltrip were to deep in the field. I even fell asleep 30 minutes into today's race and woke up about 5 minutes before the 18 car pileup. I was amazed to see Mark Martin in the top 4. Then after the next caution I was biting my nails cause he was now in 2nd with Tony Stewart and Dale Jr. in 3 and 5th at the restart. When I saw Kahne hit the oil and put it into the wall I was amazed and biting my fingernails because now Mark martin was in first with Tony Stewart Jeff Burton and Dale Jr. behind him. I don't have any fingernails left and my neighbors probably think I have an erection problem because as Mark Martin crossed the finish line I jumped and was dancing around the living room yelling "ALRIGHT VIAGRA!!!!". My neighbor was about 20 feet away working on his ford ranger thinking what the heck is going on in there. My wife found it quite amusing until I told her I won more cigars not money. My wife and my daughter were both rooting for me to lose. I am so happy I won and Dale Jr. is still in first place in points. I hope he wins the championship.
Are we doing this again for next week's race the Pocono 500?? If so please count me in again 🙂

Congrats gamelover, although I had Tony Stewart in the pool, I am a big MM fan and was more than pleased to come home second this week. Was rooting for Mark all the way. Sticks will go out today.

Congrats to both you Steve (Gamelover) and Mark Martin, he was overdue. Seems I am overdue too in playing this game, heheheeeee. And I even had my driver, Rusty running in the top ten till the late pile up, thanks Mikey!!! Another great job Paul for organizing this. Steve, your smokes are out today.
