Just wanted to give a shout out to my brotha Davidoff. It took me a loooong time before I tried a Davidoff. I never had any inclination to try one as they are everything I'm not about, or at least I thought so. I had this impression of them being just for show - the cigars that the pompous, rich and tasteless smoke. I picked up one in a boxpass - a 3000 I think and it was a lovely creamy smoke. Then my sugardaddy Tony gifted me a Davidoff Millenium that knocked my socks off. Last night I had a Davidoff short perfecto (love perfectos) that my other sugardaddy hensed gifted me and - wow! This thing was wonderful! Had the feel and slight taste of a smooth cuban (w/o the twang), it developed slowly, was creamy and toasty with hints of graham cracker. perfect construction, perfect draw, perfect burn. And these things just sit at my local shop gathering dust - I don't know about the rest of the line - but these two are worth the price IMO!

The Millennium Blend is hard to beat. Pricey, but worth it...IMHO.

This is a brand that could use a marketing revamp. As much as I hate to admit it, they all sit there looking identical on the shelf and I'm rarely attacted to them enough to plop down the considerable dough they fetch.

I like the Special "T", Double "R" & the Millenniums. They are just too expensive!!! I can buy Cohibas for what they want for these smokes. My local shop quit carrying them and he just gave me 1/2 dozen miscellaneous Davidoffs. Nice!!

Even though I continue to make the journey to the darkside with great haste. There will always be a place in my humi for some very special NC sticks that never let me down. My short list is Davidoff Milli, Short T; PAM; VSG; Anejo; AF Best Sellers.

As I said in my e-mail Ethan the next on your Davidoff to try lists are the ONEOFF, Zino and for the budget concious Private Stock.

I have wondered about these. It seems that they are worth trying and are now on my list of cigars that I HAVE to try! I don't think I have every heard anything negative about them. Thanks for the post Ethan

Hmm guess I need to give these Davidoffs a try. I have a mille at home just waiting. I'll have to search out others in the line.

I have had a difficult time finding Oneoffs and when I did they were very pricey, more then the milles.

There is a reason why Davidoff is the biggest and best selling cigar brand in the world!!! I dont have the money they call for, but when ever I want a great cigar my money will always go toward a mell blend. or a PAN. HEHE.....

I loved the Petite Corona Millenium

and I have smoked 2 Robustos Millenium...one just o.k, and the other was fantastic!

IMO, your paying for the name with prices over 10....but on the other hand, guaranteed a good smoke.
