COHIBA, Hands down... 1492's from Penatella to Espledito you cannot get a finer/smoother cigar with Kick Ass Flavor one after another "Impecable" consistant flavor... HDM's may come in second on that.. and then for powerhouse see Bass's SC El' Pricepe and Punch Punch ISOMs...

CUBANS??? come on Hog most have more problems than people will let on to. poor climate, growing conditions over almost the last 2 years and even worse quality control and over production wont really make for great cigars.

Well, went by my shop yesterday and I swear they just jacked up the price of Oneoff's. I KNOW I saw them for about half of what they're going for now.... oh well...

I DID happen to find a few treasures though - the only 2 new Camacho 11/18 liberties left!!! Woohoo!! : )

If you want a good deal on the Davidoff Milenium, try the Lonsdales. They are packed full of flavor, priced at only $12.00 a stick (anywhere you look - you can get them under $10.00 if you shop a little or buy a box) and worth every penny. I've smoked dozens of them and never been disappoionted. I have about a dozen from the Churchills to the Robustos in the humi now just chillin' waitin' on me.

Why smoke 2 mediocre $5 sticks, when you can have one awesome smoke!! Splurge a little - there's only one you and only one life to live.

Sorry - Life's too short to smoke cheap cigars!!

Davidoff Cigars, in all its lines, are wonderful, but significantly above what I wish to pay for daily cigars. There are other brands of cigars that Henkie Kelner makes at the same factory as the Davidoffs, and some closely resemble, if not mimic the Davidoffs. I believe Alec Bradley, the maker of Occidental Havana Sun Grown, Trilogy, and Ovation lines is producing a virtual Davidoff clone at the Kelner plant under the brand Purofino Milenio. I've only smoked a couple and found them to be several notches above the Private Stock brand that Kelner makes, and is often rumored to be Davidoff seconds.

Mr. Kelner, is also making the Purofino Milenio not Alec...All I can say about the Purofino is that no way is it close to a davidoff, its around the same place the other small brands Henkie makes.....JUST OK

IMHO

The Purofino Milenio boxes are engraved: "Purofino Milenio by Alec Bradley."

Yes, they are made in the Kelner plant by the same rollers who roll Davidoff, under contract by Alan Rubin (Alec Bradley.)

And I do find them very similar to the Davidoffs. Certainly, you're not comparing Roger Ralphs' early Purofino lines, Gold, Blue, and Dom to Davidoffs? This is a wholly different line of cigars.

Nor would I compare the Milenio to the Davidoff Millenium. While the construction of both is impeccable, the Millenium was constructed to have a taste profile unlike any other cigar Davidoff has ever made.

Under contract or not Henkie still was the blender for the cigars.

The cheapest place I've found these is at Payless Cigars. E-mail me at [email protected] and I'll hook you up with the website if you can't find it. (Free shipping on orders over $200)

Cost: 58.95 5/pack $294.75 Box of 25

They've gone up a bit since I ordered last (and I got a deal as I recall), but still the best price I've found for them. I pay 12.10 a stick when I buy them in Texas (still have price tag on the sticks).

If they have issues...they can pull the post.

When they start putting Davidoff up for auction, I'll start worrying about it. Can't compete with them if they don't sell them here.
