I was suprised to see that its now saturday 3:46 EST and no one has started this thread, So I will start it off...I started out the day trying to recreate yesterdays great morning by lighting up an El Credito for breakfast...things didn't go as planned ( I might discuss it in a new thread, I'm waiting to hear some advice from CI) and then went to work.

I got home at Ten o'clock and lit up a Padron Maddie 3000 that really knocked my socks off. It was the perfect end to a day that was, up until that first draw of the Padron, a completely miserable day.

so.....what did you go with today?

Family reunion picnic (equal - 0 gars). Might break out a yard gar (DE green hero) while cutting the grass.

Tomorrow, Fathers day - but have a friends grandfathers picnic for his 90th birthday. I am taking a Indian Maduro and Torano silver ex 1959 incase a friend and I can escape the familys in the park for a bit (but highly unlikely).

Fathers day evening I will surely torch at least one of those on my deck and re-coup from the "hob-nobbing" of the weekend.

Last night it was an Olivia Madie, followed by a genuine counterfit cuban. I have my son today and tonight so I won't be able to herf until after he goes to bed around 8:30. I'm sure it will be something good then. Tomorrow for father's day it's a La Luna Maddie and perhaps an assortment of other fine smokes.

My wife's uncle died a few monthes ago & the auction for the contents of his house was today. Was told by family to be there early so was there by 6:10 am. They didn't show up til 6:45! Aargh!

Took a La Finca robusto w/me. Cheap but decent.

Came home to let the dog out & grabbed 3 more cigars.

Super Premium Villazon 2nd

IT Super Fuerte robusto

Monte Afrique

I gave the Afrique to my wife's cousin & smoked the other 2. Finally home aaaaand, I think I'll smoke a La Vieja Habana Early Years Wavelle.

Saturday smokes were great...

I started off the day with an Aroma de Cuba, which suprised me as being totally awesome (despite the tar thing, which I fixed)

I went to work, and came home and had a Roly Robusto with a shot of bourbon and a couple bottles of Fat Tire Ale and played a little guitar to wind down, a great end to the evening.

Well...

Friday afternoon started off with a Cupido Gran Robusto. Followed that up later in the evening with a Torano Dominican Selection (Carlos I). By the way, if anyone knows where I can get any of these (I am down to my last box) please email at "dccrens at hot mail dot com". C-Bid and CI are not carrying them as they are out of production.

In honor of Father's day weekend on Saturday I started the afternoon with a Bolivar Belicosos (ISOM) and after dinner had a Montecristo #2 (ISOM).

Today I will probably burn a Torano Reserva Selecta this afternoon and a Hoyo de Monterrey Piramides Edicion Limitada 2003 (ISOM) after dinner.

Happy Father's Day to all the other FOTLs out there!

Cheers

I'm a GOTL, too. (Grandpa Of The Leaf). My 2-year-old grandbaby girl will be "helping" Paw Paw around the yard today. That's my Father's Day present - as good as it gets!

Well, the Fuente Anejo will be nice tonight after my wife fixes me her patented roast beast dinner.
