Im done trading for awhile. My wife is getting hip replacement sugery on June 29th.,so i will be spending the next 5 to 6 weeks taking care of her and the kids.

Busy,busy,busy!

Thank God we were able to schedule this while school is out or i might need another 3 weeks to myself in order to recover.

I hope im up to date on what i need to send out. I know i need to get out a couple of birthday bombs. They should go out before the 29th.

I'll still try to post but wont beable to do any trades of anykind. But i'll be back as soon as i can,and you better look out because im coming back strong.

Jeff....it's a good man that puts his family first! Good choice my friend. You may by the way, be out of trading for a while, but don't think for a moment that it will protect you from unsolicited bombs!

Keep the faith

So Dave, shall we all get together and send our bombs at the same time?

Can you imagine everyone that ever traded with him sending bombs at the same time?

He might have to buy a Verona. 🙂

Thanx for the best wishes guys. My family thanks you also. Even though it would be nice to see something in the mailbox besides doctor bills, let's not get crazy here. Speaking of bills. The hospital bed my wife will be in for a few weeks has just arrived here at the house. I dont even want to think about what that is costing me a day. Excuse me while i go smoke a 'gars and relax. Again thank you all.

Hey everyone!

Well the surgery went great and Mrs. Mydsooner is doing great. She's already up and walking around some so it looks like she will be coming home on Friday.
I had to come back home and take care of some first of the month things at work and then im going back to the hospital tomorrow night.

So i guess the fun really begins when we get home.
I had to go to a class today so that i would know how to take care of her. Alot of do's and dont's for the first couple of weeks. I thought i was going to have to be admitted myself, when a lady there having her second hip replacement told me how much her first one cost.........$32,000......Thank God for good insurance i guess.

Any way i thought i would just let ya know all is good. I'll try to get on here again maybe this weekend and see what everyone is up to. If not then everyone have a great and safe 4th of July.

jeff: glad to hear that surgery went well! i'm keeping you and mrs. jeezypeezy in my prayers. i hope your wife has a speedy recovery, and i hope they gave her the GOOD drugs, so she can see "fireworks" even if she's in the hospital over the 4th. 😃

don't forget to take care of YOU while you're taking care of the mrs., too, buddy. take a cigar break now and then at the very least!

Tony,
Im taking care of myself also my friend. After I found out the surgery went well, she was in recovery for an hour or so, i smoked my first Ashton VSG. It wasnt as good as i thought it would be. I'll give it another try considering i had alot of things on my mind. I had a CAO Criollo on the drive back home last night. What a great cigar. I will picking up a box of those when i go back to the city tonight.

Jeff:

Good to hear things went well. We will continue to keep Mrs. Mydsooner in our prayers. Great advice from Cavallo. Keep yourself fresh and attentive by taking a little time for yourself here and there. A good walk can help re-energize.

Take care and keep positive.

Thanks

Glad to hear all went well.

My father-in-law had both hips replaced within less than 1 year. After surgery, he went to Kessler rehab both times. The second one went smoother, since he knew what to expect and how to do the therapy and exercises.
