We also are huge Bush supporters. My husband was in the military under that joke of a president … Clinton. When we were stationed in Little Creek, VA no one had respect for that P.O.S. It’s nice to have a man in office that has some family values and beliefs, and is not afraid to stand by them. I too think it’s funny how people make fun of him all things considered ... I mean the guy only has a Bachelor’s degree in history from Yale and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Harvard. I mean he has to be a complete idiot right? I only wish I had his education. -- Carrie

may i ask what clinton did to affect your husband's career and how were you both personally affected by his terms in office.

That is a funny one.

Rick, all of us (who care) were affected by Clinton being in office. Directly or indirectly.

Education is great, but it's how one uses it that's important.

After the 1993 World Trade Center bombing, which killed six and injured 1,000; President Clinton promised that those responsible would be hunted down and punished.

After the 1995 bombing in Saudi Arabia, which killed five US military personnel; Clinton promised that those responsible would be hunted down and punished.

After the 1996 Khobar Towers bombing in Saudi Arabia, which killed 19 and injured 200 US military personnel; Clinton promised that those responsible would be hunted down and punished.

After the 1998 bombing of US embassies in Africa, which killed 224 and injured 5,000; Clinton promised that those responsible would be hunted down and punished.

After the 2000 bombing of the USS Cole, which killed 17 and injured 39 US sailors; Clinton promised that those responsible would be hunted down and punished.

Maybe if Clinton had kept those promises, an estimated 3,000 people in New York and Washington, DC that are now dead would be alive today.

All of this happened under my husbands term in the service. To me and my family the guy was worthless. He did nothing but stain this country in many ways. I won't even go into the China ordeal. My family and friends believe in the current president, and that will never change. - Thanks Carrie

Good answer gunflint. Did you notice at Reagan's funeral, no-one would sit next to Clinton. After a while, it looked like they had to draw straws or play rock paper scissors, Dole finally sat next to him.

It is painfully obvious that Clinton was a mess. In my visits to foreign countries, people remember Clinton more than any other president. Not for anything good he ever did. But for the way he violated the honor of the office of the President.

See, if we had not had 9/11 happen, are you SO SURE Mr. Bush would've started an anti-terror campaign? I am not making light of Clinton's inept handling of past terrorist activities, rather shedding some light on the fact that there is plenty of blame to spread around. Now, I was under the impression that Osama Bin Laden was in Afganistan not Iraq.....did I miss something?

Also, I have several Bushisms books I can loan you.....as the good man said, "...stupid is, as stupid does."

Terror activities aside, did our economy and standard of living not sky-rocket while Mr. Clinton was in office? With all due respect to your military life-style, many of us civilians enjoyed life with Mr. Clinton. Do remember, our constitution is based on separation of church and state, so if M.r Clinton wants to get a BJ behind closed doors while providing an economic environment where we can provide better for our children, I COULDN'T CARE LESS!

Oh yea.....is SNORTING COKE a good upstanding, family value?

The fact is that Clinton did nothing for the economy. He rode a wave that happened to come ashore when he was in office. I would like to take this time to thank Mr. Reagan for what he did for our economy. I have said all I will say about these highly debatable political issues. Not because you beat me into a corner with all your political knowledge, but because you don't care enough about the issue to get the facts. I guess I have too much respect for this country and the flag, because I feel that the president of the United States shouldn’t get a BJ in the White House from an intern. God Bless the U.S.A

Hmmm......but being responsible for the deaths of hundreds of innocent service men and women for some hidden personal agenda is?

....do I hear Toby Keith in the background?

...also, I love it when the uniformed love to spout off economic trend information when they have absolutely no idea how the conomy works. Is the economy cyclic? Yes, but to a point. Existing Presidential activity absolutely has an immediate effect on the nation's economy. Don't be one of those individuals who retains only part of a dialog because it suits them.

Nice response Sonny. It's time to take off the blinders and look at the fact that both parties are responsible for the terrorist threats we are now dealing with.

I guess finding over a dozen WMD war heads laying around Iraq means nothing. I tell you what if that means nothing to you. Then grab you closest friends and go defuse these warheads. Thanks Carrie
