"Bush administration officials told Fox News that mustard gas (search) was also recently discovered."

Carrie, Carrie, Carrie, there are two very important words in the above quote. What do you think they are?

These are unsubstantiated claims from the Bush camp that do NOT meet the definition of the "smoking gun". I do believe that if there were ANY merit to these claims, the rest of the literate world would know.....plus, you would see his AR improve due to his reasons for going to war would be legit.

I bet you're a Bill O'Reilly fan.

Get 'em gun. I joined the Army during the Reagen revolution. I sadly was still in the Army when that travesty Clinton came into office. Now, as a civilian working for the military, I'm THANKFUL for President Bush. All the liberal hand wringers are starting to make me sick. They have the gall to accuse President Bush of being a lying skunk yet they were the first to defend Clinton after he committed perjury before a grand jury??? My friends and co-workers who are IN Iraq doing great things for the Iraqi people tell me to ignore the media because they are only telling one quarter of the story. Just another example of liberals hearing only what they want to hear in the hopes of helping another socialist into the white house. It makes me nauseous.

you and i were having a nice discussion, when we were interupted by poster discussing tangential issues.

before i forget, if he was getting bj from someone other then an intern, would that have mattered?

may i point out that reagan pulled the troops out after the murdering of 260+ military men and women when the barracks were suicide bombed, in if memory serves, in lebenon.

Carrie, take note of the second to last paragraph.

D, you speak with a militant tongue. I suppose we should all be so patriotic as to stop thinking for ourselves and pay homage to ol' GW.....nope! I don't think so!

This is true that Reagan pulled the troops out, BUT on the other hand he told the Pentagon to find out who was responsible and to get them. If you knew your factual history you would know that the Pentagon did not report to the President as they should have. It was not Reagan’s fault for not responding it was the Pentagons failure. If you have any doubt about this ask any one of the numerous Special Forces guys that still remember that as if it was yesterday. Carrie

Oh I see they have to be brand new in order to work. I don’t recall Mr. Bush saying that they have brand NEW WMD’s do you? Heck does anyone remember that I bet not? I beg you to write to the U.S. Army, and ask them if you can defuse these warheads. I mean if there that old heck they couldn’t hurt a flea so go for it. While your at it tell the Kurds that old WMD’s are safe. I’m sure that Saddam had forgotten all about where he buried them. Carrie

does any one remember that Sadammm signed a 1991 agreement to openley inspect him for weapons and thn played cat and mouse games for 12 years delaying inspectors entry and then throwing them out. Can anyone remember are planes being shot at on a daily basis. Do you recall him trying to assasinate george sr. Howabout when he invaded Kuwaitt killed and toutured thousands of them destroyed their country and burned the oil fields. How about when he used chemical weapons on Kurds and Iran killing and maiming hundreds of thousands of innocents. Sadamm and company were brutal thugs bent on revenge and world domination. Does this remind you of the same goals of other Terrorist. How can any one dismiss that he was a constant threat who would never quit. If the weapons were not there they would have been someday. His thigs and allies continue their dirty work but to a lesser and lesser degree everyday. He was a big time terrorist whos time had come. Millions will be spared by his exit from world power including many of us.Is this not worhty of America yhe worlds beacon of freedom and democracy to adress? Was there any real sensible alternative to what we did here or should we have allowed him to develop into an even more deadly advasary and then fought ? The truth is there to see if you ignore the politics currently trying to divide us.

I agree that Saddam and his followers were evil men.

Are we now the Policemen for the world? Unilaterally?

Ok. Who wants to send their children to....
Where? Pakistan? How about N. Korea? I'm pretty sure they have WMDs' and I don't like them either.

rastus we have been the world's policeman since WWII. If the UN was worth anything at all Saddam would never have been allowed to get away with all that crap for years.

But he was and now we are there to take care of business. They all want to blame Bush but they tend to forget that Congress approved.

1st: We justifiably went to war with him for invading Kuwait.

2nd: Bent on world domination......Who has he dominated that would lead the rest of the world to become fearful?

3rd: We all agree he was worthless and evil, but jumping in with both feet without the rest of our allies' support was reckless and dangerous to more than just diplomacy.

Texas bravado is not a universally recognized element in international relations.

would you wait for them to come here?

Carrie, read the article again.....they were largely useless. And, we went to war under the pretense of him currently stockpiling/producing WMDs (those in usable/new condition).

huh? Jack are you on something?

He didn't even invade his neighbors, save for Kuwait and we know what the outcome there was.

Now, tell me how was going to unleash his Armada on the US and reign supreme!

Whose support didn’t we not have? France, Germany and Russia oh that’s right we only found out later that they had Billion dollar oil contracts with Iraq. Or are you speaking on the U.N.? That’s right the great U.N. that now we are finding out had a huge scam in the oil for food program. So those countries would have never sided with us. It pay’s to read. Carrie
