I think the difference is GW doesn't get on TV and tell us stories about how he had to sit at the kitchen table with his wife and try to figure out how he was going to send his kids to college.

Yes, he earned it - suing the living heck out people, bleeding insurance companies and corporations, redistributing wealth and causing higher prices as he "earned" his money.

Just a few months ago Kerry mocked Edwards' youth and inexperience. But as of yesterday, Kerry feels he'd be the perfect guy to lead our country if something happens to him??

Especially for guys like Edwards, who used junk science to drive up the costs of malpractice insurance and drive doctors out of practice.

As far as intelligence goes, I am sure that Kerry and Bush are about equal...Cheney and Edwards are probably on same IQ level.......so what does this prove---nothing! I just had rather have GWB and Cheney looking out for my interests than those two weasels! Kerry makes me sick, talking about his mornings on the farm and raising pigs, etc! Probably never saw a farm until he went to Iowa to campaign!

When a big not-for-profit(oxymoron in insurance) company like Blue Cross projects a 100 million dollar profit for the year but only make 50 million they say "we have a 50 million loss so we are forced to raise rates again" when in fact they have a 50 million dollar profit. Insurers have less ethics than the lawyers. Try getting them to approve a new drug if you have arthritis. You telling me a Doctor that amputates the wrong leg doen't deserve to get sued? The MD that replaces the wrong hip, the hospital that kills a patient because the O2 & nitrous valves get mislabeled don't deserve to get sued? Yes their are frivilous suits but the majority get kicked out of court. Don't blame a lawyer if an insurance company quickly settles rather than going to court. Are you familiar with Edwards cases? I'm not but I'm not the one trashing him.

Yes, I am familiar with Edwards' cases. He used junk science to win malpractice cases where the delivery physician was blamed for causing illnesses that were, in truth, genetic. It was all the rage for a while. Got him somewhere in the neighborhood of $160 million before folks caught on. After he banked his truckload of cash he then admitted that most of the time the doctor is not at fault. He was just able to ferret out the tiny minority of North Carolina cases where the doctors were at fault and happened to be lucky enough to get all of them to litigate with him. Lucky lucky lucky.
