I apologize for the horror inflicted on the United States by the revelation of torture of prisoners in
Iraq prisons! I never realized that the Geneva Convention was not a drunken stumble of salesmen
in Switzerland!
I apologize for not firing Donald Rumsfeld for being the most incompetent Defense Secretary of all time!
I apologize for not dropping ****** Cheney from my election ticket. He was obsessed with invading Iraq for years, and used lies, and political blackmail to carry out our failed foreign policy. He is not fit to lead!
I apologize to my God for using him as an excuse for all of my actions, when in fact it is just my lack of intelligence, and me acting out my Oedipus complex. I am not half the man my father is, and he's not that hot to begin with!
I apologize for building up the U.S. debt to such an extent that our children will be facing a bleak future as citizens of a third world debtor nation for decades to come! All so my fellow Skull & Boners will think that I'm really cool, and thank me for pumping up their portfolios!
I apologize for lying about the reasons I went to war in Iraq, and that I siphoned billions of dollars and thousands of military troops from the fight against terrorism. I know we should have concentrated on Afghanistan, but we really used all this 9/11 stuff so we could take over Iraq, something I've always wanted to do!
I apologize for weakening the Constitution, and harming the Bill of Rights. I thought forsaking a
little freedom for safety would be the way to go, but as it turned out, we have neither! But we did put the fear of God in those liberal news media guys!
I apologize for stealing the election in 2004. Using the Supreme Court in such a way is an act o treason! But what good is power if you don't use it!
I apologize for letting my associates disclose the name of an undercover CIA agent. I realize that
a number of people may have lost their lives because of that, but Karl Rove said it would send a message! Maybe I should have sent a letter instead!
I apologize to the 9/11 families for not acting on the information I received in the months before the tragic occurrence. We realized that the terrorists would hijack aircraft, but not use them as they did. We figured that a few hundred people would die, either by being blown up, shot, or as a result of a crash, not too high a price to pay for a good excuse to go and invade Iraq. Boy did they over achieve!
I apologize to all the valiant solders, sailors, and airmen whos funeerals I never attended. I know a real President would have gone to a few, but in an election year, it would have been very inconvenient. Also, as a war President, it may have just made me look like a BAD war President!
And finally, I apologize for not really apologizing!
"To announce that there must be no criticism of the president, or that we are to stand by the president right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public."
-- Theodore Roosevelt
