Sorry, Thurson, I must have snagged the last two boxes of the Anejos.

I must admit though, I have been telling a lot of people about the special. . .

Thanks all.

I did not see the replies that I had expected, so your responses were great for me.

i'll have to go along with the torano as my 1st, with the native cammy as runner up. theres alot more, but these 2 just stick in my mind. i like any torano, or trilogy.

Funny thing about the Petrus Fortus, the wrapper is not Cameroon. I think it tastes like Cameroon, & so do a lot of other people, apparently. Go to www.felipegregorio.com & it will tell you that the wrapper is an Ecuador grown broadleaf.

I believe I can list this url as they do not sell direct on this site.

Hat -The description in the CI catalog says, "...dark Cameroon wrapper" and I never investigated further. I do think they taste "Cameroon-ish", but I KNOW that they taste GOOD!

GU - What were the responses you were expecting or looking for?

Kazama,

I expected the majority of replies to mention AF Don Carlos, IT, or Ashton Heritage, but the many votes for Torano (one of my favorites in any wrapper), Petrus, and La Unica (though this one is very pricey) have opened up my Cameroon world.

YUM!!!

This thread is making me drool.

The Torano 1916 and Upmann Vintage Cameroon are my favorites, then I would go with the Flor de Oliva Grand Cameroon, Trilogy or the CAO cameroon.

The Flor de Oliva is smoooooth and yummy.

I haven't tried the La Unica or the La Aurora, so I can't comment on it.

But another less expensive cameroon that I like is the Don Tomas Cameroon.
