Hi..my name's dkeage, and I'm addicted to C-bid.

It started innocently enough, about 3 months ago.

All I wanted was somewhere I could buy premium cigars, without paying an arm and a leg for them.

I figured, there had to be somewhere a guy could get "the good stuff" without going broke.

I found C-bid.

I don't remember how...it's like it was there all the time.

First it was just one 5 pack...a Quickie..

Then......just one 5 pack wasn't enough....or one humidor.

I started to hide my purchases from my wife...we'd always been so open about everything...it made me feel like I was cheating.

I bought a 2nd humi....then a 3rd...I started looking at the really big coolers at the sporting goods stores, and thinking how many more cigars were out there for me.

The UPS man looks at me funny now......

I can believe this is happening....I feel so...cheap

...............2 more 5 packs just arrived...

Just did the 60day invoice thing I spent $330 in that time use my credit card so much that I got a new set of golf clubs free from them. All this and I only got two boxes of the coveted matches. Oh well I guess I will have to use the five colibri lighters I just had to have to light my smokes

My name is Bucky and I'm a CI addict. Mine started innocently enough with a bid on a clearance auction of 1000 boxes of 3yr old Puros Indios. No way to overbid, winning bid was about 30% retail and everyone who wanted a box (or 4) won.

Now I get a CI invoice once a week in my inbox. I'm for one desktop humi, one cooler, and working on my third tuper. I...{snif} I...{snif} I just can't stop.

Hi... My name is Neal and I'm a c-bid addict.

I've been at c-bid now starting my 3rd month.

My first try at the auctions was disapointing, so then I was kind of peeved and bid, bid, bid... until I had won about 10 auctions in one week (I think). The package arrived and my wife said "What have you DONE!!"

Since then I just can't stay away... c-bid consumes my every waking moment... Help... Two more 5 packs are arriveing shortly and I don't have room left in my coolidor.... Plus, with the trading I've done I know that more are on the way... How do I explain it to my loving (and hopefully understanding) wife??? HELP.... c-bid owns my life (or at least one of the most enjoyable parts of it...)

A confessed c-bid addict...

LOL! Your wife must be so proud.

I've had the frying pan thrown at me so often that I'm thinking of taking up the cheaper crack habit!

Hi, my name is Mike and I am also a cbid addict. I realized this when looking for a shirt to wear with a certain suit...all I had were cigar shirts. Everywhere I go I look at large pieces of furniture wondering how to turn it into a humidor. At a funeral recently I started having visions of buying a coffin and converting it into a " Casketdor". Well...I'm glad there are alot more out there like me! Thanks for allowing me to open up.

I don't have a problem!! I can quit anytime I want!! I choose not to at this point in time, but I can control my urges....really I can.

I have only spent $400 this month...so far....not a problem, I've got extra stuff around the house I can sell, the AC unit, the hot water heater, the living room furniture...no wait sold that last month. Anyone want to buy some gold teeth?

problem with the 12 step cbid program is...

Step 7: Buy a coolidor

That leads to the downfall!

Strider - That is SOOOOO wrong! (Do you think it would work? I have a friend in the business!)

My latest problem is watching eBay for spanish cedar boards, "just in case" I decide to buy/build/convert another 'dor...

On a side note, a bigger problem is that now my friends want me to "set them up" with an inexpensive 'dor and some smokes... I almost felt cheap when I started thinking about it, like a pimp for cigars, but after all, they want to be smoked, don't they?

(It looks better when you say you are buying them for someone else. Just finished setting up a sampler pack for someone, looking to start the next one.)

Hey Tpottiger. You should ask your friend about the casketdor thing. I mean they gotta come in some type of cedar. Line the inside with spanish cedar, add some shelves, tip it on it's end and you have a tight sealed humi that should store quite a few gars. Hell I figure I can even get my moneys worth by being buried in it later. Hopefully I'll finish the smokes first!

i'm a new c-bid addict myself. my ever loving wife has always been encouraging me to get some cigars. she's due to give birth to our first child( a girl), in 11 days and asked me to stop bidding till after she gives birth, finishes her maternity leave and goes back to work.

well, i got in some bids after i made that promise and won one. actually felt bad that my ridiculously low bid won. now am going cold turkey for the moment.

sure is addictive.
