I repeat do not top those if you know what's good for you! I meant those as Xmas and not part of the TTT, I wanted it to be a nice friendly TTT and not an OCTTT!

So untape the box, take out half the sticks and retape the box, if it takes a little extra time that's fine!

I'm gonna have to think about your request and ponder opening up that box. I might just leave it alone to teach you a lesson, heheheeeee. I might not remove the appropriate cigars, and then it wouldn't be topped.

Someone want to remind what the difference again between a TTT and a OCTTT? Is the only difference between them that we leave out the extra goodies and only use cigars correct? Also is there a limit on how many cigars I'm allowed to send or do can I just use my own judgement? I do need to clear out some space in a few of my humidors.

I don't think the rules have been laid down regarding the TTT - only the OCTTT. I started the OCTTT to allow others who were not as certifiable as some of us to still play in the TTT without fear of having to top a 60 cigar bomb...the minimum in the OCTTT is 10 sticks, I believe at last glance the minimum in the TTT was 5.

The plays are actually up to the players, I recommend open communication between the topper and the toppee to set the guidelines for their trade. For example, I explained to KNOF that I was going to do a regular TTT, for me I think was about 10 or sticks. I did just that and also sent a little something to him for the holidays. He is now threatening to top all of it which is sort of opening Pandora's box because now telling what I would do in retaliation to his retaliation...LOL! That hopefully gives you an idea Erich.

A TTT was started similar to the PIB & PIF trades of 5 cigars. Then it started getting out of control when a TTT began to be over 10 cigars. I commented how some of the guys are out of control, and there was the original thread of OCTTT to see who all has been involved in a TTT of more than 10 cigars.

Goody took it to the next level and started the OCTTT for trades of more than 10 cigars.

My personal preference is a smaller trade because in a large OCTTT of 40 cigars, how many of them are already in my collection. Then it makes it difficult to top, and the fun is gone (at least for me). I know some newbies, and maybe myself (at times) don't have that many different types of cigars, so again, the fun is gone.

BTW Goody, I cracked the seal on the box and took five smokes out, as you mentioned. No need to send me a list of what you sent, cause its all sealed up again.

I always fill the box...

Of course, with the OC, I tend to fill it with super nice product.
