That's worth some bucks Cooper. Worth it to put it away and find the wife something else to kill critters with. They are very collectible.


On a side note, Han Solos sidearm in the original Star Wars movies was a Mauser broom handle that was doctored up by some Hollywood prop guy.

Hell, for grins check the holster for any German waffenampts (acceptance marks).

Likewise, check the gun for matching stamps on it. An all-matching gun can be, in most cases, much more valuable than an non-matching one of the same year, make, model

The bluing on that gun looks to be in amazing shape. And the fact that you and your wife still shoot it and can bulls-eye varmints would lead me to believe the bore is in good shape.

Are you using new 7.63 ammo or surplus stuff (probably impossible to find surplus anymore)? Surplus ammo can have corrosive primers and will eat the barrel away if you don't flush it out with something to neutralize the salts. Namely, diluted ammonia. New stuff no worries.

Take good care of that gun. If I had to guess it'd be worth somewhere around $1,500. More if it's all matching.
