The box hit me this afternoon from lvsmitty. He had warned me in an email that this "KISS" boxpass had grown by quite a lot. Here is the list of what it contained:

The cigars were well packed inside 2 plastic containers, one with a humidifying packet.

Obviously this pass has been well cared for, and all the earlier participants are to be commended. But I feel that I should lighten the load in order to get this back to a KISS pass. Most of the people signed up with my promise that this will be super easy: one $3.85 Priority Mail stamp and a USPS video box to send 10-12 sticks, don't have to leave home, yada, yada, yada. The current box took $5.20 for lvsmitty to mail.

So I leave it to the forum to decide: I could slim this box down. I'd send 1/2 of the surplus on to myash (who provided 1/2 the sticks to start this pass). I'd make sure that the box I pass on to eric1989 contains the choicest sticks. The plastic containers could be returned to whomever supplied them, I'll check the archives 'cause I remember someone reporting that they added them.

On the other hand, I don't object to sending on the whole box (w/ my takes and puts). The bigger box pass has the advantage of more sticks to choose from.

Let me know your preference.

I vote on cutting it down....by the way, what were the original contents of the box?

Maybe on the cutdown, you could send half to the troops? Just a thought, but I haven't put any in yet and have little say in the matter 🙂
