Well, it's time. . . . . I know everyone's been waiting for it. . . . . I really don't have the time to set this up every week, but I'll do it a couple of weeks until someone can take the reins. . . .

. . . . qualifying for positions 1 & 2 is Sunday, so I have to get everyone set up by Saturday night. . . Daytona is a different type of qualifying, so we have to start early. . . .

For those who aren't familiar, or maybe forgot:
Up to 14 players. . . . each player gets 3 drivers assigned by random draw of starting position, 1 each in groups 1-14, 15-28 and 29-42 . . . . I draw the starting positions before qualifying, so there is no way ahead of time to know which drivers we get. . . .
. . . player whose driver wins the race, wins the cigars. . . all the other players "donate" a five pack to that winner. . . . player with 2nd place driver receives 20% of the winning players cigars. . . . 2nd place does not send cigars either. . . . same player cannot get 1st and 2nd place . . . . if that happens, 2nd prize goes to the next position, be it 3rd, or 4th. . .

Contest is open to established traders at cbid. . . we'll be doing it every week, so newbies can get some experience, and then join the pool at a later date. . .

Even if you want to play every week, you have to sign up on the next race's thread, usually posted on Monday's or Tuesday's. . .

First 14 to respond are in. . . . . I won't sign up unless we don't have 14. . . . if there's more than 20 interested, maybe we'll split up into 2 separate pools. . .
