Okay, before I start spouting off about high bid prices on Cigarbid I thought I better say hello to the group (are you happy TW?). The name is Chris. Happily married to a nice Catholic girl, live in Kansas City Missouri (I hate it when people ask me about Kansas) dad of a 2-year old, smoking cigars for 2 years (see any connection?), and pissed of at what George has put our country through in the last 4 years (nothing to do with my screen name though...see below).

(about the picture) We had just eaten at Chick & Ruth's Delly (interesting place) and had some free time for shopping and whatnot. And wouldn't you know it, there was a cigar shop just down the street. So I grabbed a La Gloria Cubana Serie R #4 Maduro and headed for the sights. This picture was taken near the U.S. Naval Academy (God Bless America). It was a beautiful day to relax and watch the boats sail in and out of the harbor.

(and about my screen name) Please don't be put off by my screen name....no anti-Semitism built into the meaning whatsoever. My wife and I bought a brand-spanking new '02 VW Passat. Well, after the first night parked in the garage my Dodge wouldn't start. So from that day on we called my car Hitler. And out in www-land there is a site for people that modify Passats and Audis called Club-B5. I was in a hurry that day so I just picked whatever came to mind. Didn't think much of it, really. Didn't think much of using the same name on Cigarbid either because I didn't even notice the forum area until by pal showed me. I suppose I could change my screen name but then I wouldn't get to have fun reading your posts about it. :)

The moral of the story is even if you do not like his user name you may want to give him a break just because he is ugly.

Nah, but I would definately throw in the explanation right from the get go, although if attention is what you were looking for, you got it. Welcome aboard.

Welcome. I grew up close to Kansas City (Kansas side) and lived in Mission, KS (close to the border) for a few years; it's a great area.

the more i think about it, the more ridiculous it seems that we can't even say the name "hitler". screw that. its not a dirty word. adolf hitler was a demon, yes. but, that's not to say we have to eliminate the name/word from our vocabulary forever or that you condone what adolph hitler did if you do say it/use it/etc.
