ok, don't believe this is a new thing but i thought i would post a thread to address this subject....

i have, in the past two months or so, received several fake cubans. dunno if they were from bombs/trades/and it doesn't really matter. the thing is......they are becoming all too common. there are many resources online to aid in spotting a fake......true, fakes are getting better and better, but you can still spot them if you look closely. this is not to say that i have not overlooked (unintentionally) a fake or two..........but this has to be stopped. i have a stack of them that i keep so i can see what's circulating around. kinda tips the scales just a bit in trading. NOT that i have been shorted in any way.....just thought this may help others in their quests for the gold...........cohibas are the worst......along with a few monte #2's and a new batch of psd 4's that have surfaced.....smoked a monte #3 today that looked cuban, tasted remotely cuban, but just lacked that signature monte flavor (#3flavor, that is). just food for thought. the best test is to smoke them............

agreed. I have in the past received fake Cohibas but recently have had a few Monte #2s and PSD #4s. The Monte and PSD look good but are too long. The PSD fake was very good and Cuban but the Monte was nasty.
