An update:

After multiple attempts at phone and e-mail contact, Mr. Larsen still had not responded to any attempt to reach him. Nor did Chris Carlson receive his cigars. As a final last ditch attempt, I left a voicemail on his phone, and sent the following e-mail message to his work e-mail:

"Steve,

When can Chris Carlson (knifeman) expect the cigars
you were to have sent him back in January, promised to
send in March and again in April? He has already sent
you over $80 worth of cigars per your agreement with
him.

We can only assume your intentions were to steal the
cigars because you are now not answering or
returning any calls.

If you persist in ignoring the matter, further action
will be taken. Please do not disgregard this warning.
It could lead to further legal action, up to and
including a warrant being issued for your arrest.

Thank you for your attention in this matter."

In reponse, I received this e-mail, which was a response to an e-mail I sent him in originally in February:

The post apparently contains a UPS tracking number, which appears to indicate a package was sent to Chris Carlson in Texas. I'll post an update once and if the package is received...

Yeah and I think that ggiese should forget about it too.
Think of it as a charitable contribution.

In the future stick with guys who have been around for a while and have a track record, or wait for their sticks to arrive first (thanks X--LOL).

I just wish Steve would have at least communicated his intentions, even if he didn't have time to complete the trade. One little PM, a voicemail, an e-mail would have gone a long way to making this right. I was not happy having to leave any kind of threats in order to resolve this - that just absolutely sucks - I absolutely hate that. As a matter of fact, all of the other voicemail and e-mail messages I had left were of the order of me wanting to help him in any way possible to complete the trade - do you need time? do you want me to pick them up from you? is it a financial issue? - just let me know what I can do - still with no response...

I was a little disappointed with his last e-mail containing only a tracking number (which appears to be a legit UPS number, which I only discovering to be a UPS number after I entered it everywhere else) - no explanation, no apologies, no nothing - just a tracking number... And, after having spoken to him twice - both times not offering any explanation other than he was "busy" without elaborating and then telling me he was going to send the cigars out immediately (without doing it) - I would think he would be a stand up guy and at least say "I'm sorry - here's the tracking number"... I'm having trouble understanding why he would be so busy to not even do that....

Sorry for the rant - this kind of lack of consideration just bugs the crap out of me...

Hey Wes (sledn) let me know if you want to do a covert mission on this guy since your so close and count me in! ! ! ! ! ! I'm up for a good ole' a$$ woopin' of this sob'n punk f*#& face puke. If he's got balls enough to go back and check his threads, no matter how busy he is, he should consider a change of address or get his **** together pronto!
