I can"t believe some of you. Why dont you just pray the President even if he isn't your man. I did this when Klinton was in office and the good Lord sent me a message reminding me he took care of this many years ago when the laws were changed limiting president to 2 terms. Then the good Lord told me I should actually spend my time praying for anyone dumb enough to defend Klinton's presidency.

P.S. if zero evidence of wrongdoing was found. Why did Klinton's license to practice law get suspended???? I was not aware this was a good thing to happen.

We had to chose the worse of two evils. I think Al Gore would still be indecisive over 9/11. I don't think Bush is so hot, but I think Gore and, for that matter Clinton, are F*&^ing messed up. Lets just appreciate what we have, work within the system or what we have, and hope one day we can have a good choice on some election.

There really is no difference between parties. Only the individuals make the difference. Regardless of who is in power, they all have to pay off political debt at the expense of millions of people. They have to satisfy greedy millionaires in order to stay in power. And they have to kiss the political a$$ of our enemies in order to keep the supply of oil flowing. It is all the same no matter who is in power.

Goose all most all of my contacts from other parts of this world are amazed and in awe of the fact that the elections in the US are followed by law and even the party in power cannot change the law after the fact. Also, if these IQ's you speak up were measured on the temp. scale you would need to remember yours would be in Celsius compared to the others measured in Farenhiet.

It's not a matter of perception ... as a point of clear fact, GWB DID win the election ... despite what some might be led to believe by the mewling of the AlGore camp, he was NOT "appointed" to the office ... the courts did absolutely nothing other than put an end to the repeated recounts in Florida (where, interestingly enough, NO recount has ever shown AlGore to have won the Florida electoral votes) ...


I find it more than a little amazing (and amusing) to recall that back in my college days when I did not understand or appreciate the concept of the Electoral College, it was an extremely liberal poli-sci professor who explained to the class, the reasoning behind it's creation and the merits of such a system.


GWB won the election ... Period ... end of story ... and while he is not everything I might hope for in a President, he is multiple times the President that AlGore could possibly have been and multiple times the President that Clinton was ... I give him great credit for recognizing his limitations and for assembling a brilliant cabinet that is easily the best since that of JFK (a man who also recognized his own limitations and surrounded himself with advisors who were more than a bunch of yes-men) ...
