they were talking about this on the radio and made a good point I thought... If it hadn't been for the father/son guys that beat up the first base coach a few years ago this might not have been such a big deal... I don't remember where that happened.. now they are forced to enforce the rules and I'm sure he was warned before he got tazed..

Although I'm not sure this kid was truly Taze-worthy, I hope this doesn't become a big lawsuit. The cop did what he is trained to do when a perp is resisting arrest.
If they don't want the police to utilize standard procedure simply because it's a ballgame, then the cops shouldn't even be there to begin with.
