This is my dog Nikki. I've had her for 15 years, and I had to put her down today. It's the hardest damn thing i've ever done. It's amazing how much you can love a dog. I'm going to miss her and I can't imagine life without her now.

I am very sorry fro your loss. I had to do the same thing last summer, and it is very difficult.

I had to do it with one of mine last year. I thought I was being really strong about it as I held her in my arms. As I was leaving the vets' office I was crying like a baby. It's a tough tough thing to do. I feel for you.

I am so sorry for your loss. It is a hard thing to do. I also had to put mine down a couple years ago. My daughter took it the hardest. She still isn't over it.

I'm sorry to here of your loss. I know it is a really hard thing to do.
I had to put my Golden Retriever down about 8 years ago. That was the hardest thing I have ever had to do. I was sitting in the vets office for an hour before I could come out of the room. I still get a teer in my eye thinking of her.

The dalmatian - clown prince of the dog world. I am dreading the day it finally comes to this with my Lilly. While they can get on your nerves, sometimes, just the fact they are there makes it worthwhile.

I feel your pain brother...I too have put two dogs down...hurt....time heels all wounds. I still get alittle teary eyed when I find old pics...My heart is heavy for you.

Sorry about your loss...

My wife and I have had to put down dogs and cats in our family. There is a company near us that has vets that will come to your home and do this.

It's the best way to go if you must do this. Your pet doesnt go through that bit of trauma, that going to the vet can cause.

Our cat 'Blackjack' died in my arms, in our den. My Shepard 'Chief' died in his own bed. It's a better experience for you and your pet. Although it still hurts like hell...

Sorry about your loss...I've had to do it with two dogs....cried like a baby in the vet office.
