Let me say, once again, that I have so much fun doing this box pass and that without great guys, like yourselves, this would be a waste of time and effort. Thank you very much for passing with me.

flyboy- I've got nothing going on this weekend (as far as I know) I'll have to ask the GF LOL.

SA and I are meeting up on Friday to hand of the BOX. If I hear from Thom by Friday the wife and I plan on driving up to Yakima on Saturday to give the BOX back to POPPA. It's only 45 minutes from where Thom lives so I think he can handle it!

I'll check with POPPA (Thom) to see if I need to post my takes.... my puts were in there before the Box Pass got rollin. Thom may not have enough HUMI space or tupperware anyway!!!

Ok, Flyboy has the box and is off to see Thom this weekend. Dennis and I exchanged some nice sticks in the parking lot and off the box went. 😞 Had a good time again all you Great NW Box passers, wish we could all get together and smoke it up.

Steve (SA) is my new BEST BUDDY!!

The guy felt real bad cuz he was going to put a Fuente "Between the Lines" in the BOX for me and noticed that the wrapper was cracked. He even tried to fix it with some vegetable gum but to no avail......it remains cracked.

I told him he should have used scotch tape!!!

When we handed off the BOX this afternoon SA slips me a Fuente Fuente OpusX Double Corona!!!!!!!

All I could toss back was Hansotia Silver Edition Mad and a LGC Serie R Mad.

SA -- I've said it before, this pass is like a good party; you keep inviting back the good guests, and you are on the perminant guest list. As others have testified, you are a great addition to this pass. I hope to herf it up with you too, hopefully in the near future.

Dave -- Thanks for the kind words, and I know I kind of twisted your arm to join, but I'm glad you were part of it, really. Yeah, I know the box is huge, but to me, the box itself is part of the fun. As they say, bigger is better, right? Now I'm really looking forward to seeing what new art is on it.

Right now I'm just waiting for a call from flyboy so he can tell me where he and his wife and I can will join for dinner and hand the box off one last time. They're a great couple and I'm looking forward to seeing them again.

I'll post some final thoughts later and get those pictures developed and post them as well.

I met with Flyboy and his wife for the final handoff and everything was in great order and I love the extra art on the box. I gave him some more cigars to take home, because, jeez, did you see how many cigars he put toward this pass? Like I was telling flyboy, I love putting on this box pass, it really is a great amount of fun for me. Sure I get some extra cigars out of the deal, but that’s just the icing on the cake and definitely not the reason for this pass. It’s about meeting, and meeting up with fellow BOTL and hopefully having a cigar or two with new, and now hopefully, old friends. Some of you I have only seen in pictures and have only met through the forums and e-mail, but I hope to one-day meet each of you personally. Because YOU make this box pass so much fun.

Thanks for the gifted cigars and the extra stuff too. Who put in the collar stays? That is a great gift and they will be put to good use. There was also a hat, a joker card, matches, and some candies put in as extras too. Too much fun! The Great North West Box Pass is now over and it truly has been great.

It was great being able to bring the BOX back to Ellensburg and see you again!

Thom, myself and the Wife had great burgers and brews at The TAV in Ellensburg. Afterwards I smoked an Opus, Thom had an Ashton and for a couple of hours it seemed like life couldn't get any better!

A curious thing happened during our Mini-Herf, which I will probably continue to razz Thom about for the next few years.
We sat in a booth near the front door of The TAV so everyone had to pass by us eventually and over the 2 hour period AT LEAST 6 good lookin women made a point to stop and say HI! to Thom. At one time 4 women at once!

Seems Mr. STUDMUFFIN knows all the girls in town and there are a lot of them cuz Ellensburg is a college town!!

Old Farts like me don't remember what it's like having women "fall all over you."

Yaaaaaaah... like that ever happened to me!!!

I just got them the developer yesterday. But I've only got pictures from Oregon. I never did meet up with turnberry to get the camera from him. But I'll get them scanned and posted ASAP. There are some good pics to post.
