Anyway, you make alliances and all that, just to break them one day when it benefits YOUR society.

That is the way of the world. Period. If you think any one of the other countries wouldn't do the same damn thing at the drop of a hat to benefit themselves, you need to take a few classes.

In a perfect world, we'd all get along and everything would be great in every country... but the reality is, we elect people to look out for what is in our best interest. Sometimes what is in our best interest doesn't jive with what we would do personally, or what our conscience would allow us to do.

Nah what I heard is he made $6,000,000 total, but I wouldn't be a bit surprised that the total was greatly inflated, they did that back then.


Yes I feel money is success, the more money you make the higher your position is likely to be, for example the salary of the President of the United States as hmmm compared to an insurance salesman.

Ask yourself: is building military bases in iraq somehow NOT occupying that country? How would you feel about the chinese building 15 military bases in the US in order to make us safer? And, after all, it is about the chinese. In a bungled attempt to gain strategic leverage on iraqi oil (in order to defend ourselves against the strategic oil contracts that they managed to negotiate through diplomatic means) we have destroyed our credibility in the world. Good job. You uneducated, head in the sand, rah rah the red white and blue types are what faulty foreign policy depends upon and you deliver it with righteous indignation to any one who has the balls to think that there is a difference between possible truth and actual honesty.

It's good to see that there is another "thinker" on this board. There are actually quite a few of us. A couple are rather outspoken and I'm one of them. I can see that you can be as well. Your dialogue and debate is wonderful.....I look forward to more.

Pablo is one cool cat. He stays out of the fight, but reads every single post.......he tends to cut a joke once in a while to cool things off when they get too heated. He's even been known to shoot me a private email to calm me down.....he's a good cat.

JonR will say or do anything to discredit myself and a couple others. He particularily hates Rick, so expect nothing but flaming out of him. Sometimes he makes a good joke though, so I read his comments.

You'll notice a lot of anti-liberal comments from many on this board. The same folks that criticize the likes of me for questioning my government, will then post pro-gun messages with neat little quotes from the founding fathers that speak of the need to question the government, etc. Somewhat hypocritical don't you think? Well, either hypocritical or plain ignorant.

I wonder if the folks that call me a commie and an Unamerican on this board realize that the founding fathers were our nations first liberals. Our nations first traitors, and that by questioning the government, secretly writing the Constitution, and starting a revolution that they were the most hated group of men in the country at the time.

They are in the military after all and have probably taken a **** toghether. Lets not forget how many people saddam killed. How many people his kids tortured, and I mean really tortured. Yelling, screaming, anguish, mutilating torture. How many people the troops have liberated. How many Iraqis have said thanks. Etc.
