Excellent choice. I like using a fountain pen to take notes at work. For everything else I use a keyboard.

I haven't had good paper to write on so I have it at home right now. There is hope, a fellow installed a drawing plotter in our office today. They typically use really fine paper so I gather up the scrap and cut it into note paper sheets.

Uh HD, I think it would be, "Alles fur Deutschland!"

Now that lavender ink, it looks a French. 🙂

^sad isn't it?

Writing, and for that matter, "speaking" have gone by the wayside.

I was thinking about this the other day when I saw two guys texting each other from five feet away.

Mon Deau, Mountain or Molehill, since when do facts, let alone geography, have anything to do with the Cibid Miscellaneous forum? 🙂

re 9 & 10

It is dying, most kids now barely print let alone write in cursive.

A few people do still use fountain pens, even places like Office Depot sell pens and refills. Mont Blanc also make roller writers and ball points.

My favorite B&M cigar store proprietor, Jeff Stone in Houston, Texas, sold fine cigars and writing instruments.

I hope you penmanship is better than your spelling.

This is fitted with a M nib and lays down a lot of ink! Yes the ink in it is purple, let the gay jokes roll. My other MB has a retractable nib that is F and uses far less ink and I only use a manly shade of blue in that one.

Handwriting is only a generation away from not being at all.

I have a few fountain pens myself. It's a completely different feeling writing with one of these, it's great. I have one from the 40's that has an ink bladder in it and still writes great.

I really wanted one of the retractable pens but have never bought one. There's a shop near me that has 100s of fountain pens.
