(LOL @ Andytv-- can't help it)

Hey Tranny, what's a good "starter" telescope?
Probably won't be used to count gnat's hairs or study planet's rings. LOL
Something my youngsters can use to spot deer, cows, horses, etc. up to about a mile from my deck?

We're pretty much in the "country" (little reflection from city lights).

Have a Meade LX200 with 8" mirror and love it. And a small Celestron for quick set up when I don't want to drag the big scope out.

To Jetblasted: a 6" scope should be more than enough to see the targets you stated, your scope probably needs to be collimated.

TrannyMK,
I was impressed when I saw the special olympics pictures, but now, a raiders fan too. What a great guy!

If we can keep Moss from showing his butt to everybody this year, maybe we can win more games than the last couple years.

Go Raiders,
LJCHAD

PS Great telescope
